Good for the body and mind

The Tai Chi Chuan has been practiced for centuries in China, where it has originated. Currently, it has been spreading in all world, awakening the interest of scientific researches that attest its benefits for body and mind. In the words of Grandmaster Shen Hai-min, 3rd Yang Generation:

"Tai Chi isn't only a martial art, but a way from prevent and treat diseases, keeping the body strong and healthy. The life is a metabolism process. The young people needs develop the functions and keep the body strong. The middle-aged people need to strengthen its functions and protect against the aging. The elderly people needs to keep the functions (carrying on to) and extend the life. The Tai Chi has shown positive effects in all this points, basically, because of its principles of movement. Developing the internal and external force, and harmonizing the opposites. The Tai Chi can relieve and, finally, heal chronic diseases.
